Gojou Satoru is basically the strongest character in the Jujutsu Kaisen universe(a great show by the way!) His six eyes and Limitless abilities make him a formidable opponent. But how does his limitless work? Lets try to answer with physics.

Gojou’s limitless

True Limitless:- Infinity

Gojou’s limitless has three forms. The first one is true, neutral limitless called Infinity (mugen) . The ability is simple. He makes sort of a barrier around him and controls what comes through and what goes through. But a part of Infinity is that once you put your hand in the barrier, it will be going through it forever, since it makes the barrier’s interior space also infinite. This is sort of like the big bang, where Gojou spends his energy to sort of create space. But how? Well, inflationary cosmology suggests that when a universe is created, a little energy is amplified by the outward burst of the big bang that created this universe. This can be explained by the fact that the universe expanded 10⁹⁰ it’s size in the first (10)-³⁵ seconds of it’s existence. And the energy released from that is how your phone is currently working. This outward burst would exite the energy and amplify it. As explained by Principal Gakuganji of the Kyoto Jujutsu Tech, Gojou has near unlimited cursed energy in a battle, which can credit to the theory put forward by physics.

Amplified Limitless:- Blue

Amplified limitless:- Blue (Jutsushiki Junten・Ao)is the positive side of limitless. This technique relies on amplifying limitless, so that instead of putting a barrier up, it sort of absorbs a barrier, or in mathematical terms, goes into the domain of negative distance. This can be explained by something Einstein found when working on general relativity. You see, the original equations that he derived made the universe expand(something that was discovered by Edwin Hubble in 1929), but the thought at the time was that the universe is static. So Einstein found a new way to solve the problem. He argued, pressure also plays an important role in Gravity formation. And Negative pressure, can attract negative gravity. This gravity, unlike the one we are familiar with, is repulsive, it pushes things out. Einstein made the presence of this Repulsive or Negative gravity known as the Cosmological Constant. But after the Hubble discovery, this concept was erased from history, until Alan Guth, (who is basically the one who gave the theory of Inflationary Cosmology along with Henry Tye) reintroduced the constant, by making it a variable(the explanation is not of importance, but if you want to know, it basically means that the Higgs Field’s potential energy is variable, more on that in the next series). So, by changing the value of this Negative pressure to create a pressure difference, so that it is weaker than the original gravity (so that there is more attraction than repulsion), the matter from his own infinity and the outside surroundings comes in to fill the difference, and creates a magnet like effect, in turn giving Gojou such a dense mass, that it trans- mutates into energy(something that was discovered again, by Einstein, in mass energy equivalence, or E=MC².) .

A fan- manga interpretation of Amplification Blue.

Reversed Limitless:- Red

Reversed Limitless:- Red (Jutsushiki Hanten・Aka) is the negative limitless, or the opposite of blue. In this technique, Gojou reverses the strength of his cursed energy, to make things repel, and creates a divergence of Infinity. This feat is achieved, again by the Cosmological Variable. He just changes the energy output of his body to facilitate the formation of negative pressure, and in turn, repel things. This, influences the energy in his body, into negative energy, and then he multiplies negative energy by negative energy, to get a more powerful, positive energy. Just like pressure, Negative energy gets rushed by the positive energy, again making a net positive charge, with the power as the sum of both energies, making it twice as powerful as Amplified Limitless:- Blue. This can also be explained by how he describes it, “converge-divergences”, showing how he can split energy, and then combine it. This shows how difficult this technique is to perform, and explains why Gojou is the only jujutsu sorcerer in the past thousand years to have been able to perform the technique.

Gojou forming the reversed limitless:- red

The colliding Limitless:- Purple

The colliding Limitless:- Purple (Kyoshiki・Murasaki) is the combination of red and blue. This means that he combines both Infinities together, and in turn, makes infinite mass. This, in turn generated infinite energy, through mass energy equivalence principle, or E=MC² given by Einstein. This makes the blast so energized, that as soon as it hits the target, it snaps them out of reality, erasing everything it hits without exception, making it the single most powerful attack in all of Jujutsu Kaisen, maybe all of anime, if it manages to hit the likes of Saitama(one punch man) or Goku(dragon ball metaseries) or Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto/Boruto metaseries) or Kazuto Kirigaya/kirito (Sword Art Online Franchise) or Ichigo Kurasaki (Bleach) or Meruem (Hunter x Hunter)or DIO (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure:- Stardust Crusaders) or the Jade King(God of High School) or King Zahad( Tower of God) or (final one) Eren Yeager’s Founding Titan(attack on titan) {there are a lot of anime characters who I think are the most powerful, please bear with me, it annoys even me}.

Gojou’s Hollow Purple

There are a lot of other perks, such as Domain Expansion:- Infinite Void (Ryoiki Tenkai:- Mugen Kyujou) and instant teleportation, but I really suggest you watch the anime, with all the second and third waves going on, it really is the best time to sit at home and watch it.
